📋 Service Agreement & Medical Facilitation Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of MedInGreece medical coordination services, cost estimators, and clinical package bookings. By submitting an inquiry or booking a consultation, you agree to these terms.
1. Nature of Facilitation Services
MedInGreece operates as an international medical tourism coordinator and healthcare concierge. We partner with board-certified orthopedic surgeons, JCI-accredited surgical hospitals, and premium rehabilitation resorts in Greece to organize comprehensive surgical travel packages.
Clinical Responsibility Disclaimer: MedInGreece facilitates travel, accommodation, and clinical communication; medical procedures are performed independently by licensed, accredited healthcare professionals. Final surgical candidacy and surgical decisions are established solely by the attending orthopedic surgeon upon in-person physical evaluation.
2. Medical Evaluation & Scans
Initial online consultations and cost estimations are based on the medical history, X-ray scans, and reports submitted by the patient. Patients are responsible for providing complete and accurate medical information. Pre-operative lab tests and physical exams performed upon arrival in Athens determine final clearance for surgery.
3. Pricing, Deposits & Payment Terms
- Fixed Pricing Guarantee: Cost estimates provided following surgeon case review include surgical fees, hospital operating suite fees, implant costs, nursing care, and selected accommodation stays.
- Booking Deposit: A deposit is required to secure your hospital operating theatre schedule and luxury recovery accommodation.
- Final Payment: Remaining package balances are due prior to or upon hospital admission in Athens via bank transfer, major credit cards, or certified funds.
4. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
We understand that medical timelines may shift due to personal health developments:
- Patient Rescheduling: Package dates may be rescheduled up to 14 days prior to travel without penalty, subject to hospital operating suite availability.
- Medical Disqualification: If pre-op clinical screening in Athens reveals an unforeseen medical condition preventing surgery, unrendered hospital and accommodation fees will be refunded per partner clinic policies.
- Standard Cancellations: Deposits for cancellations made within 14 days of scheduled arrival are subject to hospital theatre reservation fees.
5. Patient Responsibilities & Travel Insurance
Patients traveling to Greece for medical procedures are advised to:
- Maintain a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond intended stay) and obtain necessary visas if required.
- Purchase international medical travel and trip cancellation insurance covering elective procedures and travel disruption.
- Follow post-operative kinesiology, wound care, and medication instructions provided by the surgical team.
6. Jurisdiction & Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising in connection with facilitation services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.
